The police caught seven people and took another twenty-five to various police stations in Hajdú-Bihar County yesterday.
Five perpetrators were caught in the act of committing crimes and one was taken into custody on the basis of a warrant for arrest issued by the court of Debrecen. Nine people were taken to police stations as suspects.
There were three traffic accidents from which one resulted in serious injuries and two in minor ones.
A 34 year old Romanian man wanted to enter country yesterday morning when it turned out that a warrant for arrest was issued against him for forgery by the Romanian authorities. He was taken to the police station of Debrecen.
A 59 year old man was caught stealing a bottle of liqueur in a store in Hajdúszoboszló. After the security guard called the police, the perpetrator was taken to the police station where a procedure was initiated against him on reasonable suspicion of theft.
A 52 year old Turkish man wanted to leave the country at the Biharkeresztes border-crossing point. During the checking out the border guards noticed that the man had no legal documents; he was taken to the police station.
