A delegation of the Budapest-based Centre for Fundamental Rights (AK) has visited Washington, DC for talks with conservative politicians on the forthcoming jamboree of the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), to be held in Budapest next spring.

The delegation held talks with leaders of the American Conservative Union (ACU) Matt Schlapp, former advisor to ex-president Donald Trump, and Dan Schneider on the details of the jamboree. AK leader Miklós Szánthó said that CPAC Hungary would welcome influential conservative opinion formers and decision makers from the United States and the whole western world. While in Washington, DC, the delegation consulted with leaders of conservative think tanks, journalists and Republican congressmen, and attended a pro-life conference at the Capitol.
