Flocks of cranes are leaving the Elep Lakes near Hortobágy.
According to the available information, 85,000 grey cranes (Grus grus) live at the Hortobágy National Park in the summer. As autumn comes, they fly away through Sicily towards the Bosporus to the North African area, to Tunisia and to the Sudan.
